DIY Winter Home Fragrance Simmering Potpourri

Nothing says home like a warm and inviting scent! But you don't have to fill your home with a lot of artificial and potentially harmful chemicals to make it smell wonderfully. With just a few simple and all natural ingredients, your home will smell amazing all season long.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Cranberries
  • 1 Tangerine, Satsuma, or small Orange - sliced
  • 1 Stick of Cinnamon
  • 5 Cloves
  • 2 sprigs of Rosemary (or 2 tsp dried)
  • Water

Method:

Place all ingredients in a small simmering pot, and cover with water. Heat on low to fill your home with the fragrance. Add water as needed to keep a good level in the pot.

The potpourri will darken, but will be good for days, just keep adding fresh water.

This also makes a cute homemade gift. (My children's teachers loved them!) Just place the ingredients with water in a mason jar, and add a few decorative touches.

Enjoy!
