C'mon In

Hello, and welcome to my blog! C'mon in and take a look around.

My name is Samantha and I grew up in Florida. When I met my wonderful husband, I moved to Mississippi and we started our little family. ~ Hence the name Florassippi Girl.

I've had the idea to start this blog for a while now, and am finally taking the plunge. I hope you come along with me on this adventure.

This blog will cover recipes, sure; but also, family fun activities, crafts, stories, and maybe a few farming tips along the way. Feel free to send me your ideas and suggestions. Also, remember to comment often. I love hearing from you!

  1. Hi Samantha! Where in Florida did you grow up? I grew up in Lakeland. I lived there for 28 years and then moved to South Florida in December of 2009. I lived in Jupiter for about 1 1/2 years and now live in Stuart. My boyfriend and I bought a house in Stuart in 2011.

Hope you are having a great weekend! Stopping by from Call Me PMc but I think I have been here before. :)

  4. Samantha, I love your blog. I, myself, grew up in Mississippi and moved to Florida as a teenager. My dad and his whole family are from Jacksonville. Now I'm in Colorado. Most people out this way don't know much about either location. I look to your blog as my go-to to keep me grounded in good southern cooking!
