Oysters Rockefeller Tart

Everything you love about Oysters Rockefeller in a convenient tart. Salty oysters, creamy cheese, and succulent spinach - it's all here... and don't forget about the bacon! To kick it up a notch, you've got a splash or two of your favorite hot sauce. All in under 15 minutes! Can you believe it? This one is sure to find its way into your favorite recipes box.

Ingredients:
  • 1 can Crescent Rolls
  • 1 to 2 slice(s) Bacon
  • 2 - 8 oz. cans Whole Oysters, drained
  • 1 - 13.5 oz. can Chopped Spinach, drained
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Hot Sauce (like Louisiana brand)
  • Garlic Salt

Method:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Press crescent rolls into a 9x13 baking pan as one complete sheet. Pay special attention to the seams.

Prebake the crust until the bottom is brown, about 5 - 7 minutes.

While the crust is baking, cut up the slice(s) of bacon into small pieces, and brown to desired crispness.

Remove crust from the oven and set broiler to Low.  Brush the top of the crust with the bacon drippings. Place oysters, spinach and bacon bits around, as if making a pizza.

Place cheese around on top, and sprinkle with hot sauce and garlic salt to taste.

Place tart under broiler until cheese is melted and crust is golden, about 5 minutes.

Cut into squares to serve.

Enjoy!
